Two different people visited our campus recently. Both followed up their visit with a personal note mailed to me the old fashioned way! You don't get many of these anymore so they definitely got my attention. Inside each note the person shared about feelings they had while visiting our campus. Let me share a sentence or two from each one:
"It was wonderful to see so much technology, diversity, and growth. The simple love for learning demonstrated by your teachers and students was refreshing!"
"My visit to TPS was like a dream of what a school should be like!"
I share these words with you to encourage you as we return from our break. Thank you for always going the extra mile! Your heart for Christ shows in so many ways even for those simply visiting our campus for a few minutes. Thank you for allowing Him to use you at Trinity to touch lives.
24 Hours that Changed the World
If you have not read the book 24 Hours that Changed the World, I strongly encourage you to do so. This is the perfect time--Lent. This book clearly explains the events of Holy Week and the whole atmosphere at the time of the arrest and crucifixion of Christ. Hamilton uses all four gospels and clarifies the different accounts in each. There is an accompanying reflection book to go along with it as well. This book is perfect for personal or group Bible study. It is a short read so if you start now you can read a chapter or so a week and be done by Easter Sunday!
