Intentional Classroom Practices!
As I walk through the halls and watch you engaging with learners, our August meeting comes to mind. We made a list of words that we felt described what we wanted happening in our classrooms. I see those words everyday all over our campus! The following are a some of the words from our list: collaborative, learning, students, teachers, families, Christian, preparation, intentional, lifelong learner, different experiences, technology, hands on learning, comfortable, happy, encouraging, and building each other up. Thank you so much for being intentional about our learning environment. What a joy it is to observe and experience it!

Devotional Book: Jesus Calling by Sarah Young
Many of you may have the devotional book called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. What a great little book. Over a week ago, several of us were using that devotional book for our weekly prayer time here on campus. The devotional for that day (Sept. 2nd) has stuck in my mind ever since. Let me share a little bit of that devotional to kick our week off:
When you depend on Me continually, your whole perspective changes. You see miracles happening all around, while others see only natural occurrences and "coincidences." You begin each day with joyful expectation, watching to see what I will do. You accept weakness as a gift from Me, knowing that My Power plugs in most readily to consecrated weakness. You keep your plans tentative, knowing that My plans are far superior. you consciously live, move, and have your being in Me, desiring that I live in you. I in you, and you in Me. This is the intimate adventure I offer you.
I pray for all of us a great week as we serve Him at Trinity.
Thank you!
I would also like to say "thank you" to all those that helped Second Grade Grandparents' Day be such a huge success for the families involved. I ran into several people today that were touched by that special time. Thank you to Mrs. Ahna, Mrs. Aitken, Mrs. Faulkner, Mrs. Jeffcoat, Mrs. Sprague, Mrs. Pippin, Mr. McCoy, Mrs. Stabler, and multiple parent helpers.
